A stunning pair of Luguru Chief's thrones from the Uluguru mountain region of Tanzania.

Carved from a single tree trunk, they are the work of a master carved with a mass of beautiful pattern-work on both pieces. They are vintage c1970s.

The King is approx 150cm tall x 50cm wide & the Queen 152cm tall x 52cm wide.

Beautiful and rare.
